Live nowPath to Doomsday — Avengers: Infinity War
2v2 duo PvP for the Infinity Stones
Oct 9 – Dec 11, 2026 (09:00 UTC)
- Players
- 12 players (6 duos)
- Format
- Head-to-head 2v2 rounds; first duo to hold all six Infinity Stones wins the match
Six two-player squads fight in short duels inspired by Avengers: Infinity War. Between rounds you draft random ability cards to shift power spikes, and eliminated teams drop their Infinity Stone for others to claim — so late-game stone control swings hard.
- Each round pits two duos against each other (often on Wakanda-themed spaces from the film tie-in).
- Random cards between rounds upgrade abilities and stats — comps are not fixed 6v6 ranked lineups.
- Teams start with assigned Infinity Stones; stones grant powerful effects when timed well.
- When a duo is eliminated, survivors can pick up their stone, enabling comeback and kingmaker moments.
- Hero pool is limited to iconic cast members from Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War (not the full Rivals roster).
Stream beats
- Explain this is duo PvP, not standard 6v6 — pair picks and card RNG matter more than ranked team templates.
- Call out stone steals after eliminations — good clip bait for chaotic finishes.
- Link viewers to /heroes for main-mode comp ideas; note many ranked staples may be unavailable in this pool.
Official Marvel Rivals notes ↗Coming soonPath to Doomsday — Avengers: Endgame
Large-scale PvE vs Thanos
From Oct 22, 2026
- Players
- Up to 50 players
- Format
- Co-op PvE assault on Thanos and his forces at the ruined Avengers Compound
The second Path to Doomsday chapter scales up to a massive cooperative fight — dozens of players together against Thanos and his army, recreating Endgame-style spectacle rather than round-based PvP.
- Set in the ruins of the Avengers Compound after the snap-era battle.
- Designed as a large PvE horde/boss experience (NetEase has compared scale to prior seasonal PvE, but much bigger than 4-player events).
- Expect cinematic beats and boss pressure rather than stone collection or card drafting.
- Arrives mid Season 10.5 as the Infinity War mode continues on its own schedule.
Stream beats
- Launch-day stream: treat as a community raid — low comp theory, high chaos and boss phases.
- Contrast with Infinity War on the same page so chat knows which mode is PvP duos vs PvE mob.
- After playing, send ranked viewers back to /team-builder for standard 6v6 prep.
